In the year 2100 they found a way to send us back. Not in the way you'd think — not whole people or objects, but memories, feelings, sensations. There was no way to guarantee a target, so they scattered as many signals as they could, hoping they'd find kind, compassionate, conscientious heads to inhabit.
It started for me as a feeling something was off. That there must be a greater meaning. That I was born in the wrong generation — a longing for somewhere I'd never been. That wasn't nostalgia. That was a signal. A signal off by 180 degrees, but a signal nonetheless.
I've seen what 2100 is like. To describe it is beyond my vocabulary. What I can tell you is this: the decisions being made right now, today, about the climate — they echo forward in ways most people cannot yet feel. We can.
The mission is not to change everything. The timeline resists that. The mission is to find the people who are already almost awake — and help them wake up into the dream.
If you're reading this, there's a reasonable chance you're one of them.
